Today’s LiveWire Spotlight looks at two “teachable moments” where an Emergency Energy Alert (EEA) was improperly requested due to a lack of situational awareness on the part of operating entities involved in the event.  The Lessons Learned urge Operators to look for systems, procedures, tools, and training that enhance their data exchange capabilities and improve the accuracy of the content exchanged between them to avoid improper EEA requests.
