Today’s LiveWire Spotlight looks at the initial posting of the proposed updates to the NERC Glossary definitions of Reporting ACE and its associated terms. The Project Team’s goal is to allow every Interconnection to implement automatic time error correction; not just WECC. The approach inserts an Inadvertent Interchange Management component into the Reporting ACE equation that generically refers to a process that any Interconnection may use to deal with Time Error.
The initial draft of the modified Reporting ACE Definition and its associated terms have been posted for a 45-day industry stakeholder review and concurrent ballot. Your comments and votes are due back to the project team by March 16, 2023.
