Today’s LiveWire Spotlight looks at the Supply Chain Data Request recently issued by the Department of Energy (DOE) as directed by a Presidential Executive Order released in May. The request consists of eight questions probing into the assessment of risk where foreign ownership, control, or influence over a BES component exists; especially those supplied by an adversary.
U.S.-based entities have until August 7, 2020 to respond to the DOE’s Supply Chain Data Request. (Canadian Clients are also encouraged to do so.) Responses can be entered online at https://www.regulations.gov/docketBrowser?rpp=25&po=0&D=DOE-HQ-2020-0028.
