Today’s LiveWire Spotlight looks at FAC-014-3 Draft 5, which corrects minor flaws in response to industry stakeholder comments to the previous draft – which fell short of approval by 0.05%. Perhaps the most material update calls for Reliability Coordinators to provide equipment owners a list of Facilities that are part of an Interconnection Reliability Operating Limit (IROL) at least once every twelve calendar months.
The fifth draft of FAC-014-3 and its supporting materials have been posted on the NERC website for a 45-day review period and concurrent ballot. Comments must be returned and votes cast by April 5, 2021.
