Today’s LiveWire Spotlight examines NERC’s Standards Grading Review for 2022 – marking the sixth year since the program was transitioned from an Independent Expert Review Panel to a five-member Periodic Review Standing Review Team. The team expects to consider stakeholder feedback to the initial grades after a 45-day review, finalize the numbers, and submit the results to the Board of Trustees. The calculations will afterwards serve as inputs for periodic review teams as they are assembled, but do not determine project timing or prioritization.
The initial grades of the four eligible Reliability Standards for 2022 have been posted for stakeholder review and feedback. Comments are due back to the Standing Review Team by June 3, 2022, so they can be considered in the final grading exercise.
