Today’s LiveWire Spotlight examines NERC’s most recent yearly submission to FERC outlining the progress of the Find, Fix, Track, and Report (FFT) and Compliance Exceptions (CE) Programs. The status report confirms that program performance and consistency has been maintained or improved in seven areas of impact identified by FERC at the inception of the programs – including their effect on BES reliability, backlog reduction, and the re-focus on serious issues.
NERC filed its annual FFT and CE process status report with FERC in November. The Commission is not expected to upset the status quo as they are focused almost entirely on priority risks from cyber-attacks and evolutionary changes in the BES resource mix.
