Today’s LiveWire Spotlight looks at a Compliance Implementation Guideline developed by the Data Exchange Infrastructure Requirements Task Force to explain NERC’s Control Center data redundancy and diversity criteria. The Guideline focuses on ICCP link backup including switches, routers, servers, power supplies, cabling, and communication paths up to the points of handoff at the perimeter of the Control Center.
As of January 15, 2021, the ERO Enterprise has officially endorsed thirty-two guidelines related to the CIP, FAC, MOD, PRC, TOP, and TPL standards. Seven others addressing some of the most complex NERC requirements are under consideration.
