Today’s LiveWire Spotlight evaluates the initial version of a draft NERC Reliability Guideline describing how best to develop and verify computer models that accurately represent synchronous resources.  It advises equipment owners required by the MOD standards to validate the excitation and governor system performance of rotating generators, condensers, and motors.
