Today’s LiveWire Spotlight looks at five guidelines that the ERO Enterprise has refused to endorse. Although they were originally intended to help entities understand the rationale underlying various reliability requirements, auditors will not give special deference to entities who choose to comply with a standard using examples provided in the guidance.
As of March 1, 2017, The ERO Enterprise Compliance organization has officially endorsed 15 guidelines – eight more are under review. They have given no timeline for updating the guidelines that were rejected.
