The attached LiveWire Spotlight looks at NERC’s Cost Effectiveness Pilot held in regard to Project 2015-10 Single Points of Failure (TPL-001). The exercise is intended to to test a process that will help regulators and industry to contrast the costs of implementing modifications to TPL-001-4 against their benefits.
The initial draft of NERC’s Cost Effectiveness Pilot has been posted on the project website for a 30-day review period. Clients have until May 26, 2016 to return comments back to the drafting team.
