Today’s LiveWire Spotlight looks at the third draft of PRC-012-2, which consolidates all existing planning, performance, and data collection requirements for Remedial Action Schemes into a single standard. It eliminates a potential conflict of interest by transferring the Regional Entity’s responsibilities under the existing standards to other entities – primarily the Reliability Coordinator and the Planning Coordinator.

PRC-012-2 Draft 3 and its supporting documentation have been posted for a 45 day review and concurrent ballot. Clients have until March 18, 2016 to send feedback to the drafting team and to vote on the standard.
