Today’s LiveWire Spotlight serves as a reminder to Clients who may be impacted by the Facility interconnection, Reliability Coordinator operation, and nuclear plant coordination requirements that become mandatory next month. All four standards address the output of three five year review projects that primarily consolidated requirements, eliminated redundancies, and clarified ambiguous language.
FAC-001-2, FAC-002-2, IRO-009-2, and NUC-001-3 will take effect in the U.S. on January 1. At that time, the applicable owners, operators, and planners must have evidence that they are fully adhering to these standards.
