Today’s LiveWire Spotlight is the fifth in a series concerning the Risk Elements identified in NERC’s 2015 Compliance Monitoring Enforcement Plan (CMEP). The topic of this article is Workforce Capability – which applies risk-based principles in assessing compliance to the NERC standards governing Bulk Electric System Operator awareness, training, and proficiency.
The in-effect version of the 2015 CMEP and its supporting materials are posted on various sections of NERC’s web site. The Regional Entities have developed and are executing their specific implementation plans, attached as appendices to the CMEP.
