Today’s LiveWire Spotlight takes a look at Protection System Misoperations – the fourth of nine articles to be issued over the course of the year examining each risk element of NERC’s 2015 Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Implementation Plan. The reliability focus of this risk element includes six requirements in a subset of the Protection and Control (PRC) standards.
The in-effect version of the 2015 CMEP and its supporting materials are posted on various sections of NERC’s web site. The Regional Entities have developed and are executing their specific implementation plans, attached as appendices to the CMEP.
