This is the second of two articles evaluating the standards that will replace PRC-001, the NERC standard governing Protection System coordination between operating entities.
The initial drafts of TOP-009-1 and its support documents have been posted for a 45 day review period and non-binding ballot. Clients have until September 11, 2015 to comment and vote on the standard.
