Today’s LiveWire Spotlight looks at the changes to NERC’s Rules of Procedure that align with the transition to Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Version 5. The updates primarily rearrange language that helps clarify the intent of NERC’s cyber security responsibilities, but there are substantive modifications as well.
The modified version of NERC’s Rules of Procedure and supporting documentation are posted for a 45 day stakeholder review. Comments must be emailed to NERC at ROPcomments@nerc.net and are due on August 31, 2015.
