Today’s LiveWire Spotlight evaluates the Standards Authorization Request for Project 2009-09 – which addresses the situational awareness tools and systems used in Operations Contingency planning and monitoring. The project will execute three open directives in FERC Order 693 calling for reliability requirements that will “enable operators to deal with real-time situations”.
The initial draft of the Standards Authorization Request has been posted for a 30 day review period. Clients have until August 17, 2015 to provide comments back to the drafting team.
