Today’s LiveWire Spotlight looks at FERC’s proposal to approve the output of three major NERC initiatives related to Undervoltage Load Shedding Systems, emergency operations, and Remedial Action Schemes. In the NOPR, the Commission expects to approve without reservation key aspects of the three projects, except for two perceived UVLS reliability gaps in PRC-010-1.
FERC’s proposal to accept EOP-011-1, PRC-010-1, and the RAS definition is posted for a 60 day public review. Clients have until 8/24/15 to submit comments on the NOPR or to respond to the Commission’s two issues raised in the Docket.
