Today’s LiveWire Spotlight examines FERC’s announcement that they intend to approve nine IRO and TOP standards that will replace nearly all those presently governing Reliability Coordination and Transmission Operations. However, the Commission requests further information on four topics – that may lead to follow-up directives if the responses do not adequately resolve the stated concern.
FERC’s proposal to accept the nine TOP and IRO standards is posted for a 60 day public review. Clients have until 8/24/15 to submit comments on the NOPR or to respond to the Commission’s four issues raised in the Docket.
