Today’s LiveWire Spotlight evaluates NERC’s Coordinated Oversight Program – the latest Compliance/Enforcement option sponsored by the Reliability Assurance Initiative. The program allows Multi-Region Registered Entities (MRREs) to request that all facets of risk assessment, compliance monitoring, and enforcement be consolidated under the control of a single Regional Entity.
MRREs have been offered a second chance to sign-up for NERC’s Coordinated Oversight Program. Those who want to ensure participation in 2016 must submit their requests to brooke.thornton@nerc.net by June 30, 2015.
