Today’s LiveWire Spotlight evaluates the Draft 2 SAR for Project 2010-14.2 – which looks to update BAL-005-0.2b and BAL-006-2 based upon the periodic review conducted by NERC. The drafting team has openly raised several considerations regarding both standards that may impact the fundamental application of balancing principles and the compliance method.
The second draft of the Standards Authorization Request for Project 2010-14.2 has been posted on the NERC website for a 30 day review period. Comments must be returned to the project team by August 14, 2014.
