Today’s LiveWire Spotlight examines PRC-010-1 Draft 3 – which consolidates four existing standards governing Protection Systems that shed load in response to undervoltage conditions. The project team has modified the previous draft in response to industry feedback, primarily to add clarity surrounding the process, responsible entities, and applicable Protection Systems.
The third draft of PRC-010-1 is posted for a 45-day industry stakeholder review and concurrent ballot. Clients have until August 7, 2014 to return their comments to the project team and vote on the standard.
