The third draft of the PRC-002-2 and its supporting documentation have been posted for a 45 day review and concurrent ballot. Clients have until June 23, 2014 to return comments back to the drafting team and vote on the standard.

This is the third version of the NERC standard calling for BES planners and owners to identify Disturbance Monitoring Equipment (DME) sites and to deploy units accordingly. It consists of twelve requirements that govern the siting methods, the DME capabilities, and the distribution of recordings used in Events Analysis.
