Today’s LiveWire Spotlight takes a look at the second draft of MOD-031-1, the consolidated NERC standard governing the collection of demand and energy data used in reliability studies. In the latest posting, the project team has removed references that infer that Regional Entities actively participate in the development of the data request and its collection from the end users.
The second draft of MOD-031-1 and its supporting documentation have been posted for industry stakeholder review and concurrent ballot. Clients have until November 22, 2013 to return comments and vote on the postings.
