Today’s LiveWire Spotlight looks at Project 2012-05. It combines all six transmission system capability standards in order to better delineate reliability and market considerations in the calculation of Total Transfer/Flowgate Capacity and Available Transfer/Flowgate Capacity. The project team has coordinated its actions with NAESB – and moves economic requirements to them, while retaining those related to BES integrity.

The second draft of MOD-001-2 and its supporting documentation have been posted for industry stakeholder review and concurrent ballot. Clients have until November 18, 2013 to return comments and cast their votes on the standard.
