Today’s LiveWire Spotlight looks at the first Five Year Review of the FAC Standards – a recurring evaluation required by NERC’s Standards Process Manual to confirm that FAC-001-1 thru FAC-014-2 remain clear, concise, and technically sound. The project materials include a SAR for two standards (FAC-001-1 and FAC-002-1) which had substantial issues and which will be picked up in a subsequent project.
The initial recommendations from the FAC Standards five year review have been posted on the NERC website for a 45 day review period. Comments must be returned to the project team by September 16, 2013.
