Today’s LiveWire Spotlight is on a data request issued by NERC asking Generator Owners and Transmission Owners to provide information that will be used to develop siting criteria for Disturbance Monitoring Equipment (DME). The request is considered to be non-compulsory, but the results will be used to determine the applicability of PRC-002-2, the continent-wide NERC standard that will establish the requirements for DME locations and capabilities.
The informal Disturbance Monitoring data request for Project 2007-11 has been posted for a 30 day review-and-respond period. Clients have until July 5, 2013 to submit their completed spreadsheets.
