Today’s LiveWire Spotlight addresses NERC’s one year status report on the progress of Find, Fix, Track, and Report (FFT) – a program intended to improve the throughput of standards’ violations that pose a small or negligible risk to the Bulk Electric System. They report that FFT has successfully alleviated the burden on the formal process, which had accumulated a backlog of 3,300 violations – and was growing.
NERC filed the FFT one year status report and recommendations to FERC on March 15. The Commission may decide to maintain status quo or modify the process based upon their assessment of the results.
