Today’s LiveWire Spotlight is on the Cybersecurity Executive Order issued on February 12 by the President of the United States, Barack Obama, to establish a nation-wide approach to public and private sector cybersecurity. The initiative will be overseen by the Department of Homeland Security with support from the Director of National Intelligence and the Attorney General.
By July 12, 2013, the Department of Homeland Security must develop the first list of critical infrastructure. NIST will post the initial draft of the cybersecurity framework three months later.
