Today’s LiveWire Spotlight is on FERC’s acceptance (with conditions) of the “find, fix, track, and report” initiative – intended to improve the throughput of Standards violations that pose a small or negligible risk to the Bulk Electric System. Concurrent with the ruling, the Commission approved 425 minor violations resolved through the process.

The ERO has been cleared to begin Phase II of the FFT initiative – which will allot even further discretion to the Regions. NERC must submit a filing to the Commission by May 15 describing the progress of Phase I and specifics around Phase II.
