Today’s LiveWire Spotlight is on the second draft of the interpretation developed for CIP-002 in response to two questions posed by Duke Energy. They address the identification of Critical Cyber Assets which support the operation of Critical Assets – particularly those which are remotely used by technicians to maintain and/or troubleshoot BES facilities.
The second draft of the interpretation of CIP-002 R3 has been posted on the project web site for industry stakeholder review and a concurrent ballot. Comments must be returned – and all votes cast – by March 23, 2012.
