Today’s LiveWire Spotlight is on the “find, fix, track, and report” (FFT) process where violations with minimal/moderate risk factors and severity levels can be expedited. This process has been utilized by the ERO since September as a means to improve the throughput of Standards violations that pose a small or negligible risk to the Bulk Electric System.

NERC expects to file their six month status of the CEI initiatives with FERC in late March. At that time, the Commission may decide to eliminate or modify the FFT process based upon their assessment of the results.
