Today’s LiveWire Spotlight is on Project 2007-03, which is combining all transmission operations reliability requirements into three Standards. All Reliability Coordinator requirements will be transferred to the IRO Standards, while those applicable to TSPs and PSEs are eliminated. In this latest draft, the project team has additionally addressed four directives from Project 2007-06–System Protection Coordination, enabling three PRC-001 requirements to be retired.
Draft 6 of TOP-001-2, TOP-002-3, and TOP-003-2 are posted on the NERC website for a 30 day industry stakeholder review. A ballot will be conducted during the last 10 days of the review period, ending January 12, 2012.
